Join us in Worship at Bennett's Chapel - 8014 Lee Davis RoadSundays - 10:30 a.m.These are indeed exciting times at St. Paul Lutheran Church. As a congregation, we voted to begin our relocation, restart our congregation in Mechanicsville, Virginia and renew ourselves in God’s mission. Our facilities, to be located at 8100 Shady Grove Road in Mechanicsville will support our ministry and will include a Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall and Kitchen. There will be significant room for classrooms for Sunday School and other amenities for our worshipping community to feel comfortable and welcome. Our congregation gathered on November 1st, 2009 for a ground breaking ceremony and construction began on November 9th. Our property has quickly transformed into a "construction site".These new facilities will support our goal of carrying out Word and Sacrament ministry aimed at bringing people into a saving faith relationship with Christ and Strengthening the faith of our members.There are many opportunities for worship, fellowship and service for all ages of members of the congregation. |
