Ash Wednesday & Mid Week Lenten Services - Join us Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2012 with Dinner at 6:00 p.m. followed by Worship Services at 7:00 p.m. This service includes the Imposition of Ashes & Holy Communion. Mid-Week Lenten Services begin Wednesday, February 29th - April 4th starting with Dinner at 6:00 p.m. followed by Worship at 7:00 p.m. Menus are below.

Ash Wednesday, February 22nd - Pancake Dinner with bacon/sausage
February 29th - Spaghetti with and without meat sauce
March 7th - Chicken and dumplings
March 14th - Corned beef with cabbage and potatoes
March 21th - Pot luck - Bring a Dish or Dessert to share
March 28th - Ham and Bean soup Vegetable soup
April 4th - Chicken and rice casserole

New Member Class - Our next New Member/Adult Information Class will begin on Sunday, January 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This class is a great way to learn about what Lutherans believe. This class is the most common way for people to gain a knowledge of Lutheranism and join the congregation. It's also a great way to brush up on basic Christian Doctrine as taught in Luther's Small Catechism. Classes meet for approximately 6 sessions. See Pastor Bitely with any questions.

Men's Breakfast Bible Study - Meets Saturday, February 25th at 8:00 a.m. at Cold Harbor Restaurant in Mechanicsville. After breakfast, will meet in the Fellowship Hall for our Study at 9:00 a.m.

LWML– Join the Ladies of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League on Saturday, February 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. We'll start our morning with a short devotion, then beginning planning our Spring Yard Sale and Craft Workshops for the Fall Festival. Guests are welcome to join in our Mission projects so bring a friend!

CFDE - Capital Fund Drive Extension Celebration Sunday - Join us in Worship Sunday, February 19th as we celebrate God's Blessings in funding our Building Program. We will then have a Celebration Luncheon and a brief program in the Fellowship Hall.

Kitchen Dedication - Sunday, February 19th we will enjoy our CFDE Celebration Luncheon and will also dedicate our new kitchen. God is good and we want to give thanks for His provision of the kitchen, dedicating our kitchen to His Glory.

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study - Class meets every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. Please join us as we begin our study with the book of Galatians.

LifeLight Bible Study - All are welcome!! Come and grow in your faith and knowledge as we take a deeper look at Scripture's teachings. This is a great way to learn more about what the Bible teaches on a number of important issues for Christians. This session is titled "Advanced Christian Doctrine".

Quilting - Meets every Thursday at 9:00 a.m. in the Church Office. Please join our group for a time of fellowship and service as we create quilts for a variety of missions.
